First of all lets say it out loud – most pricing for us is POA. There are so many variables in print that we operate on a quote based system. Vinyl, screen, the stock garments, artwork detail, amount of ink colours, amount of placements and finishing can all affect the final price, but hopefully this page will give you some idea of what you want to ask about when you do get in touch.

If you're interested in working with us or want to get a quote, just click the button - we'd love to hear from you!

You can find all of the services we offer in more detail on this page, but if there’s anything you’re not sure of just ask! We’re always happy to offer advice on what would work best for you. If you’re looking for something pretty simple, then head over to our store page and see if any of the bundle offers we have are suitable – theres are usually one and two colour prints on Gildan Softstyle/Heavy tees and are delivered within 14 days of artwork confirmation and payment.

If you need things in a rush we can also offer a panic button service, you hit the panic button and we can rush your order through in 3-4 days. Please note that a rush service incurs an additional fee, is stock availability dependent, and will only be accepted if we can meet your deadline without compromising the final product.

- Screen printing -

Screen printing, for those of you that aren’t familiar, is a fairly labour heavy process – it involves making separate screens for each colour in the design (stencils). These screens are then put on our manual carousel press, lined up and each colour is printed individually by hand using a squeegee and dried with a flash cure between the different colours. After this the garments are removed from the press and heat cured in a tunnel dryer. This process means that the screen print tends to out last the garment itself.

We use the industry standard of plastisol ink for printing, resulting in vibrant coverage and durability. In terms of quality and value there’s no other form of printing that currently rivals traditional screen print.

Theres always been a lot of discussion about the environment and the types of inks used for garment printing, we try to stay as informed as possible and if you want to read about our environmental ethics, the inks we use and their environmental impact then click here.

Anything from block colours to full photographic prints can be screen printed, and as you’ll see below there’s a lot of special effects that can be added too.

Prints in more than one place or with multiple colours? No problem! We can print up to 6 colours in a design, but with techniques like halftoning and simulated process a print can look like it has a full spectrum of colour. If you don’t know what these methods are, don’t worry, we do and we’re happy to talk you through the process. A screen needs to be made for each colour in your design but we will always separate your design in the best way possible to save on the screen setup fees for you. Sometimes we are able to top & tail design pieces on screens to save further on setup.

We offer a colour mixing service free of charge with all of our screen print jobs, this can be anything from basic colours to pantone references. It’s always worth noting that with the nature of ink and the way it cures that colour shades may be slightly different to paper printed and digital versions.

Apart from it’s coverage and durability, the benefit of plastisol screen print also comes in the form of special finishes. Some of these include puff, glitter, foils, neon, glow in the dark and split fountain – any of these are great options if you want to add a bit of pizzazz to your design for a small charge per print.

You can see some examples to the left, and you can see how they would enhance your print job.

Puff is fantastic for adding some texture and dimension to designs, and neon inks add that real colour pop! Split fountain is a cost effective way to add more colour to a simple design on smaller shirt runs – it’s when you print 2 or more ink colours at the same time on one screen, so every piece is unique.

We can offer a branding and finishing service for garments, making them suitable to go straight into the retail market. Mix and match what you want for the needs of your brand.

    • Re-label – we remove the original factory tag and replace it with a screen printed label inside the neck. We can help you design it so you’ll know it contains everything thats needed and fit the garment print space.
    • Swing Tags – we can add swing tags for that classic in store look. You could even have the tags feature a free sticker or QR codes to video links…make that garment sing!
    • Folding & Packing – we can fold and individually bag each garment. Folding is done by hand, a size sticker is applied and then the garment is packed in a clear, recyclable polypropylene bag. We can also pack in biodegradable and eco postive packing bags if requested.

Vinyl has it’s place in printing and always will do. We offer out vinyl prints for small runs, one off garments, gift items and customisation of…well…anything!
It’s great for adding custom names or logos to kits and workwear. It’s great for that gift where you want to put your best friends face on a hoodie. It’s great for adding a super sparkle effect to your yoga leggings. What we’re saying is that vinyl is pretty good in general if you have a small job thats not suitable for screen, and as a benefit it has a minimum quantity of just one piece.
Vinyl comes in block colours, special effects (like glitter, flock and holofoil), digital printable and special material finishes for things like nylon or stretch fabrics, so there will always be something suitable. Theres even a new eco range of vinyl that we’re currently trialling to help reduce material waste in the industry. We’ll keep you posted on how that goes!

Everybody loves a sticker, they’re that great small addition to an order that cheers people up. We mostly print on a plain white vinyl stock in eco-solvent inks (this gives the prints a nice colourfast finish that holds up well in the outside world), but as you can see from the images, we can also print on metallic and holographic base stock. We can’t print white ink, so it’s worth noting that anything in the design thats white will be metallic when printed on metallics/holographic.

The stickers can be cut to shape or left on sheets, and we’ve recently added lamination to our stickers. This adds a longer lasting finish and makes the stickers feel more substantial – it comes in matt or gloss at the moment but we’re also looking into holographic lamination. If we find something that will work for us we’ll update you on that one!

These little stickers can be up to 10cm square…but we can also print bigger stickers on our printer. Did you ever want a giant picture of your pet as a sticker on the side of your wardrobe? That can be a reality. We can print stickers up to 60cm wide, so if you needed something more unusual just drop us a message and ask if we can provide what you’re looking for.

Ah, the fabled “I really wanted to do something for this event but totally forgot and now I need it printed yesterday!” moment. Everyone’s been there, but sadly we can’t time travel to remind you to order sooner, however… our panic button service might be able to help. As long as we have the space to fit in the job and you approve the artwork, we’ll move your job to the next print slot and get it them printed right away for a premium. We have been known to work late and even through the night to make sure a deadline is met. So if you need it, the panic button is there.

Please be aware that in some cases we may not be able to take on rush orders if we are already over booked. We will discuss this with you and do whatever we can to help. We send out almost all of our orders on a 24 hour courier, but if you are local to Newport or heading through then you can collect or we may be able to arrange meeting with you to collect/deliver outside of normal hours.

We’re are currently in the process of adding workshops to our business. Our goal is to run regular workshops at the studio for people to try their hand at screenprinting and learn a new skill – so watch this space for that update!

At the moment we can offer small scale workshops where we come to you with a basic waterbased ink setup. This is great for schools, community groups, corporate teams or clubs to help with creativity, design, teamwork and entrepreneurial schemes. We recently helped out a local school for their Enterprise Troopers Competition and we can’t speak highly enough of the young talent we got to work with! Check out more about the Enterprise scheme here – and drop us a message if you are interested in any workshops.
